Rural Telemedicine in Ukraine

The World Bank has published a handbook for rural telemedicine in Ukraine, entitled “Ukraine – Rural Health and Telemedicine : Telemedicine Implementation Handbook” which was written by John Chelsom, Conceicao Granja and Abdul Roudsari, following a World Bank project which started in 2018.

The handbook was based primarily on research and pilot implementations in the Rivne, Poltava and Odesa oblasts, culminating in a workshop held in Odesa n September 2019 which brought together clinicians and technologists from across Ukraine, together with representatives from the World Bank, Ukrainian Ministry of Health and the Ministry for Regions.
