The third annual summit meeting for the Global Open Source Electronic Health Records initiative was held at St Edmund Hall, Oxford, on Saturday 21st March, 2026. The day was chaired by Naveed Dogar from Seven Informatics and the University of Oxford.
The opening session focused on the Telemedicine integration project in Rivne, Ukraine, the associated workshop teaching program for students from Rivne and Kyiv, and the Warifa project in Norway, now bidding for extension to include partners from Rivne, Ukraine.. The meeting then heard feedback from universities in Ukraine and Nigeria on the recent Health Informatics curriculum development workshop. The morning concluded with an update on the prototype development of In-A-Container.

After lunch presentations gave updates on the implementation of cityEHR for Child Health Records at the Darul Ikram Orphanage, Benin, the Valkyrie project in Norway for a Federated EHR for Mental Health Practitioners, Using a Blockchain and the development of a clinical information model for Primary Care Health Records at Odo-Ona Elewe, Nigeria.
In the final session Naveed Dogar presented the annual report of the GOSEHR initiative and moderated a discussion on plans and objectives for the year 2026-27. In the evening Seven Informatics hosted a Gala Dinner at the University Examination Schools attended by 120 delegates, supporters and guests.
