The Medinfo conference returned to in-person attendance in Sydney, Austrailia, after a break due to the Covid pandemic. John Chelsom presented a paper on “An Ontology-Based Architecture to Support Language Variants of Model-Driven Electronic Health Records”.
This describes the creation and management of language variants for the clinical information models of cityEHR, which are represented as ISO 13606 based ontologies using the OWL/XML standard.
